Event Location

Commencement is held at Strahan Arena at the University Events Center. Free parking is available in lots as indicated on the commencement parking map below.

Guest Tickets

Ticket Information

Guests 4yr+ need tickets for commencement. Grads must secure/distribute them. Only grads who marked "Yes" on their application can reserve tickets. ID required.

• Driver’s license 

• Government-issued ID

Parking & Traffic

Traffic and Parking Management

The University Police Department (UPD) manages parking and traffic for safety. Lane closures and traffic redirection may occur for smooth operations.

Traffic Resources

Tune to KZOS-FM 103.1 on the day of commencement for up-to-date information on parking, traffic, and other general commencement information.

Off campus & Private Park

Since parking lots off campus may be private, guests are asked to observe all signs to avoid having their vehicles towed.

Shuttle Services

Shuttle Overview

Shuttle buses are the fastest way to the University Events Center. They will transport guests from lots A and B, dropping off at the TXST marquee sign.

Bus Details

  • Shuttles will only pick up & drop off at designated stops.
     
  • Allow 15 mins for route.
     
  • Buses start 1.5 hrs before, end 1.5 hrs after.
     
  • All buses are ADA accessible.
